This eye-catching blue drink is perfect for summer gatherings or any occasion that calls for a fun, colorful beverage.

Tasting Notes

The Drunken Mermaid opens with a burst of citrus from the blue curaçao and lime juice, giving it a refreshing and tangy start.

The vodka provides a neutral base that allows the other flavors to shine without overwhelming the palate. The simple syrup adds a subtle sweetness that balances the tartness of the lime juice, creating a well-rounded flavor profile.

As you continue to sip, the addition of flavored hard seltzer introduces a pleasant effervescence that enhances the overall drinking experience. The bubbles add a light, crisp texture that makes the cocktail feel even more refreshing.

The combination of sweet, tart, and fizzy elements makes the Drunken Mermaid a delightful and easy-to-drink cocktail that can be enjoyed by a wide range of tastes.

Tips & Tricks

Replace the simple syrup with honey syrup for a different kind of sweetness.

Infuse the vodka with fresh fruit (such as berries or pineapple) for a more complex flavor profile.
