You know you want one

Ingredients

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz hazelnut liqueur
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Nutella
  • 3 oz heavy cream
  • garnish - shaved chocolate, chopped hazelnuts

Instructions

  1. Grab your martini glass, dip the rim in a bit of Nutella and run it through chopped hazelnuts.
  2. Mix together cream and Nutella until smooth (blender, immersion blender, or a whisk).
  3. Pour into a shaker with ice, vodka, and hazelnut liqueur, shake very well.
  4. Strain into garnished martini glass.
  5. Garnish with shaved chocolate and chopped hazelnuts.

Notes

This makes two servings, or a very large martini (depending on your glass).

The Nutella rim is completely optional but it adds a nice touch.

Tips & Tricks

In a pinch you can use a mix of chocolate and hazelnut syrups instead of actual Nutella. The flavor will be a little different, but the end result similar. 

The Nutella rim looks great but is very messy. If you want to tone it down consider just dipping the glass rim in a bit of hazelnut liqueur and then into shaved chocolate.
