Experience a fiery fusion of sweet strawberries and bold jalapeños

  • 2 oz fresh strawberries, diced
  • 3-4 slices jalapeno
  • 0.75 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • granulated sugar for the rim (optional)

  1. If you're doing a sugar rim, rub the rim of the glass with lime juice and dip it in sugar. Set aside.
  2. In a shaker add strawberries, jalapeno, lime juice, and muddle very well.
  3. Add ice, tequila, triple sec, simple syrup, and shake very well to chill.
  4. Double strain into prepared glass, garnish, and serve.

This can also be made by steeping the jalapeno slices in tequila and leaving them like that for 24h in the fridge. The resulting tequila should be spicy enough.
