The middle layer of Irish cream adds a smooth, creamy texture and a sweet, milky taste that perfectly complements the coffee liqueur. The top layer of orange liqueur introduces a bright, citrusy note that cuts through the sweetness, adding a refreshing finish to the shot. Together, these layers create a harmonious blend of coffee, cream, and citrus, making each sip a delightful and balanced treat.

Use flavored versions of the standard liqueurs, such as hazelnut coffee liqueur or vanilla Irish cream, to add extra layers of complexity and unique flavors.

Introduce a fourth layer by adding a small amount of amaretto liqueur between the coffee liqueur and Irish cream for a nutty, almond flavor.
