Toast to Elegance with Every Bubbly Berry Sip

Ingredients

  • 0.5 oz creme de cassis
  • champagne to top
  • fresh raspberry for garnish

Instructions

  1. Divide the 0.5 oz creme de cassis in two champagne flutes.
  2. Top with champagne (or sparkling wine, or prosecco).
  3. Drop in a couple of raspberries and serve.

Notes

This recipe essentially calls for a splash of creme de cassis in a glass of champagne. The exact measurements are not important, this is made to taste. As long as there's a hint of berries you're good.

Chambord is a good option in place of creme de cassis, but it's quite delicate and you may need to use more.

The Kir Royale offers a delightful blend of flavors, starting with the rich, berry sweetness of crème de cassis that adds depth and complexity to the drink. This is perfectly balanced by the dry, effervescent nature of champagne, creating a refreshing and luxurious experience. The bubbles enhance the aromatic notes, leaving a pleasant and slightly tangy finish.

Tips & Tricks

Swapping regular champagne with rosé champagne can add a subtle pink hue and additional fruity notes.

For an extra kick, add a small splash of vodka to increase the alcohol content and add another layer of complexity.
