Tasting Notes
On the first sip, the mezcal’s signature smoky character takes center stage, offering earthy, roasted notes that evoke the feeling of a crackling campfire.
The amaretto introduces a smooth, almond sweetness that mellows out the mezcal’s intensity, while the lime juice adds a sharp citrus brightness that keeps the drink lively. The ginger beer ties everything together with its gentle spice and carbonation, making each sip both refreshing and layered with depth.
As you continue sipping, the flavors evolve. The ginger beer’s spiciness becomes more prominent, complementing the lingering smokiness of the mezcal.
The amaretto’s sweetness rounds out the drink, providing a nutty warmth that softens the overall boldness. The balance of smoky, sweet, tart, and spicy flavors creates a well-rounded and enjoyable cocktail experience, perfect for sipping slowly.
