The first sip of Island Hennessy offers a refreshing burst of tropical flavors, where the pineapple juice and lime juice provide a bright and tangy base. The blue curacao and island punch pucker schnapps add a sweet, fruity twist, enhancing the overall tropical feel of the cocktail. The coconut rum brings a smooth, creamy texture and a subtle hint of coconut that complements the fruity flavors well.

As you continue to drink, the richness of the Hennessy cognac becomes more apparent, adding depth and a slightly warming note to the cocktail. The balance of sweetness and acidity is well-maintained, making it a delightful and easy-to-drink beverage that is both refreshing and satisfying.

The finish is smooth with lingering tropical and cognac flavors that invite you to take another sip.

Island Vibes with a Touch of Luxury

  • 0.5 oz Island punch pucker schnapps
  • 0.5 oz blue curacao
  • 1 oz coconut rum
  • 3 oz pineapple juice
  • 0.5 oz lime juice
  • 0.75 oz Hennessy

  1. In a cocktail glass add plenty of ice, and then pour Island punch and blue curacao so they sink at the bottom.
  2. Set aside in fridge.
  3. In a shaker add ice, coconut rum, pineapple juice, and lime juice.
  4. Shave very well.
  5. Slowly strain into the cocktail glass over ice, so the yellow mixes a little with the blue at the bottom, creating a green gradient.
  6. Slowly pour Hennessy over the back of a spoon right on top of the yellow layer, so it floats a little.

This is served without stirring, to preserve the layers, but we do recommend you stir it right before drinking.
