What is Raspberry Margarita?
Raspberry Margarita is a twist on the classic Margarita recipe, where you swap the simple syrup for raspberry syrup. The result is a beautiful pink cocktail that blends tequila with raspberry in a fruity new drink, just perfect to enjoy on your porch.
If you’re looking to make this a frozen Margarita, you can use raspberry puree instead of syrup for greater effect.

Notes
When is this drink best ?
I think the raspberry Margarita is a perfect summer cocktail, but especially in the early summer or warm season. There’s something about raspberries that makes me think of late spring/early summer, and I think a Margarita with raspberries would work great in those seasons.
It’s also a great cocktail for an evening out, or even at a party if you’re looking for something sweet and fruity.
My thoughts on Raspberry Margarita
I found the raspberry Margarita to be a nice riff of the original Margarita. The raspberry pairs well with tequila and you cans till taste the alcohol, but it’s a little different in flavor now. Triple sec is still strong in this and it also pairs well with raspberry, so I call that a win.
The combined alcohol of triple sec and tequila make this a strong drink, with a nice sour edge from the lime juice but a sweet undertone from the raspberry syrup. Overall a great drink.

Notes, substitutes, and tips
This is a strong cocktail but if you want to make it stronger you can turn this into a sipper by swapping the raspberry syrup for raspberry liqueur.
