The Purple Pansy

A floral fusion of gin, zesty lemon, and luscious blackberry sweetness

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz blackberry syrup
  • pansies and lemon to garnish

Instructions

  1. In a shaker filled with ice combine gin, lemon juice, syrup, and shake very well.
  2. Strain into chilled rocks glass half-filled with ice.
  3. Add pansy and lemon wheel to garnish.
  4. Serve !

Notes

This is classed as a sour, but you can easily turn up the sweetness if you like by bumping up the syrup to 0.75 oz, in which case you'll get a prettier color.

If you want to make this a higher proof drink, and/or don’t have blackberry syrup on hand, you can use Chambord instead (same ratio).
