The vodka lemonade is simply a mix of 3 parts lemonade to 1 part vodka, though you could make it stronger if you like. Vodka lemonade is great whenever lemonade is: throughout the whole warm season, and especially on lazy, casual, even fun warm days when you don’t feel like doing much. Or when you’re celebrating with family, or hosting a cookout or a potluck, or simply want to enjoy a nice glass of lemonade by yourself.
The great thing about this spiked lemonade is you can turn it into a spiked punch very, very easily. As long as you’ve got the means to keep it cool, you can easily serve an entire host of people. Or, if a punch bowl isn’t realistic, then a large jug in the fridge is also a good option.
My thoughts on Vodka Lemonade
I liked vodka lemonade, mainly because I love lemonade and when it’s mixed with plain vodka it hides it very well. This is entirely dependent on the quality of vodka, of course, so make sure you use at least medium/decent vodka since it might show through the lemonade sometimes.
Overall I find this very refreshing, and a great way to enjoy a summer afternoon.
