The strawberry Martini might look cute, but it’s a vodka martini all the same. It packs a punch and looks glamorous doing so.

What is Strawberry Martini?
The strawberry Martini is a version of vodka martini made with strawberry syrup and cranberry juice. This cocktail is sweet and sour, or rather mostly sour so you could easily class it as a vodka sour. Fortunately it’s quite easy to make, and personally I think it’s friendlier to vodka sour newcomers than say, a Cosmopolitan.
So here’s how to make you very own strawberry Martini !

Notes
When is this drink best ?
The strawberry Martini works great as a summer drink, especially a summer evening one when the general vibe is party, and doing your best to look great. The strawberry Martini does all that, and it’s a great party drink. I could easily see this served at clubs, lounges, even house parties if you’ve got someone with a bit of skill.
My thoughts on Strawberry Martini
I found the strawberry Martini quite good, if a bit on the sour side. The cranberry and lemon juice work well together, and they highlight the sweetness of the strawberry syrup. Overall a really great mix of flavors, and I think a good chunk of it comes from the acidity in the fresh lemon juice. The cranberry juice is sour, yes, but not so acidic but it does provide a very beautiful color.
Vodka is noticeable and you’ll feel the burn, but the overall flavor will be the mix of strawberry, cranberry, and lemon juice.

Notes, substitutes, and tips
The vodka in this is supposed to be a plain vodka, to let the other ingredients shine through. The sweet and sour mixers will hide the taste of a mediocre vodka so it might not be worth busting out your very best for this.
