What is Blueberry Daiquiri?
Blueberry daiquiri is a version of daiquiri made up of rum, lime juice, and blueberry syrup. It’s a simple twist on the original, replacing the simple syrup with blueberry syrup.
It’s a fruity, pretty drink but it still packs a punch – 2 oz of alcohol in there – and it’s still a rum sour by definition. Here’s how to make one.

Notes
When is this drink best ?
Blueberry daiquiri is a great summer cocktail. Blueberries always remind be of summer and rum always gives me a tropical vibe, so I’d drink this mostly in the summer, not on a beach but in my own backyard, in the shade, before dozing off for a few minutes.
Since this is mostly a sour drink, I think the blueberry daiquiri would work great as a pre-dinner drink to get your appetite going. Or perhaps an after-dinner one, in case you’re too full and need a little help digesting.
My thoughts on Blueberry Daiquiri
The blueberry in this daiquiri pairs really well with rum, and together they give la vanilla-fruity flavor. Some may like this change, some may not. It’s still a sour drink, with twice as much lime juice as blueberry syrup.
Overall I found this combination to be good, and the blueberry note is a bit subtle but still noticeable.

Notes, substitutes, and tips
If you’d rather make this a frozen daiquiri, you can use blueberry puree instead of syrup for the extra texture and a bit of fruit pulp.
